CaseyM Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 Can anyone tell me what I need to bolt a Kohler Command engine (CH20S... same as 18 hp)into a 900 series tractor? Specifically, is there an adaptor that bolts to the flywheel to which the 4 bolt rubber connector on the end of the driveshaft connects and do I need a plate or other riser to elevate the command engine to avoid needing to modify the frame to accomodate the starter and the oil filter? If there is anyone who has a late model sovereign with the Command Kohler in it within driving distance of Kansas City or between Kansas City and Springfield, Illinois I sure would appreciate an opportunity to look at the motor mounting and drive shaft hookup.
