Simplicity 4020

Hello Everyone: I went to a huge farm auction in the area yesterday. There was a really nice Simplicity 4020 for sale there. It had a hydraulic 60" plow on the front and a small brush hog on the back. I have never seen a simplicity this large, having a 3 pt. hitch and hydraulics on it. My question is, it went for $2,500.00 and I did not get it. Did I just pass up a good deal or did someone get taken? Thanks, Eric PS, One of the reasons I did not get it is that I bought a nice 6118 Broadmoor last weekend. This tractor was in great shape and had a great running 18 briggs twin. I got the tractor with the mower deck for $400. That was something I could not pass up. Do you guys think this was a good deal? My wife would have killed me if I came home with two tractors in one month.

A really nice 4020 w/front hydro. blade and brush hog for $2500 - I think you missed a great deal! These tractors are very tough, well-built; well-engineered units that with a little TLC will probably last a lifetime.

I have an Allis-Chalmers B-10 early model and a Allis-Chalmers B-112, you should have bought the both of them spoil yourself as a early birthday gift or late christmas present, it goes back to the ol' saying ''My wife said if I bought another tractor she would leave me, sure am goin' to miss that women'' go on have some fun, buy the next on you see. P.S. The prices for those tractors are great my B-10 is 38 yaers old and going strong except for the bevel gear drive, tell your wife the garden tractors your buying will last a lifetime unlike others, then maybe she will appreciate the babies' a little more hehehe -Brad[A href='My garden tractor website.']My garden tractor website.[/a]
