pondo Posted October 26, 2003 Posted October 26, 2003 I am a new member and I need a bit of help. I am looking at a lift pump and cylinder for my big ten. How much would one be worth?
UCD Posted October 26, 2003 Posted October 26, 2003 The hydro lift for the older tractors are bringing up to $300.00 on eBay. Sometimes if you are lucky you can buy the whole tractor for less.
dirtsaver Posted October 26, 2003 Posted October 26, 2003 Mike welcome to the club! I know you will enjoy the Big Ten. They are great little work horses and look so cool. Getting to your question....that is a loaded one! I guess to star is the pump and cylinder Simplicity/AC or aftermarket? If Simp./AC does it come with the quadrant control lever too? Does the seller claim it to have been working when removed or it it "unknown" condition? Sorry to answer your question with more questions but they all factor into pricing these kinds of things. My guess is if it is a Simp./AC unit and complete with all brackets, hoses and controls in working order with no leaks in the cylinder or pump, $150-$200 or so would not be too much. Larry
jkmustang1 Posted October 26, 2003 Posted October 26, 2003 There is a hydro lift on ebay right now going for $177 and change. $27 and change more than I paid for my b110 with it and a deck, extra blades, tire chains and a snowblower belt cover. No I didn't get the snowblower but I did get the tractor book and the snowblower book. Also got a homemade 3pt that's cool.
thedaddycat Posted October 26, 2003 Posted October 26, 2003 My Big Ten w/ hydro lift was only $210 on eBay no less, and I too have seen just the lift go for more than that.....
UCD Posted October 26, 2003 Posted October 26, 2003 I paid just over $300.00 for my lift on ebay. I had to win two auctions to get it complete. The seller split it into two separate auctions. The pump and cylinder in one and the cylinder bracket and pulley in another. But it had the very rare bracket that bolts to the bgb to mount the lift cylinder.
