rjgoth Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 I am wanting to reproduce the engine decals that came on the old Cast Iron Briggs and Stratton engines. Does anybody know a source for decals, or better yet does anybody have an engine that has these decals on it where you could take a picture of them for me. I am having decals made up that I would be happy to share when I get them made up. Ryan
Kent Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 For an Allis, they are available as a part of the decal sets for the Allis B-series sold by Wells Implement. They'll sell them separately, unless I'm mistaken. These wouldn't apply to a Simplicity, perhaps, because one of them is a "Made exclusively for Allis-Chalmers by Briggs and Stratton" or something like that.
Scott Salmons Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 Are you talking about the round "easy spin" decal on the air shroud? I have tried to find them as well.
PatRarick Posted October 27, 2003 Posted October 27, 2003 Not sure if they are still available for the cast iron engines, but Briggs has decal sets available. Somewhere around $15, if memory serves. You just need the model number of your engine, just like any other part. The catalog or microfiche shows what each set includes, so it shouldn't be too difficult to browse through and find what you need. Pat
