TomMaryland Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 I couldn't email the guy for some reason...wheres he from?
johnerj Posted November 1, 2003 Posted November 1, 2003 Hi guy's In my eyes this tractor is not worth the $450 even with the lift, but you can decide. Here are the pic's he sent me. I am only about an hour from it and not going to look at it. John
JimV Posted November 1, 2003 Posted November 1, 2003 I have to agree, the machine is clearly a mutt. Not that thats a realy bad thing but it does show the tractor or tractors had a hard life more than likely. I would buy it if it was going for short money. On a side note I have a 3012 that I bought with a bad tranny "which I replaced" that the seller said he couldn't garentee because it was used hard as a tiller for a landscaper for a couple of years on Block Island. Well that tractor turned out to be my favorite tractor I have ever owned. It isn't the prettiest but it has been a real workhorse. so I wouldn't walk away from it but don't pay top dollar...
johnerj Posted November 1, 2003 Posted November 1, 2003 I also forgot to mention the engine is seized. Sure it has some good parts but without the lift?? I bought my "running" Landlord in better shape without a lift but with a snow plow and 42'' deck all for $150. I didn't actually walk away, I left an offer and my phone number. Who knows maybe in a month or 2 he will call, when the snow starts to fly. John
Kent Posted November 1, 2003 Posted November 1, 2003 IMO, that tractor is way overpriced... if it were a good running tractor, and not a mutt, it would be at the very top of the price range....
MPH Posted November 1, 2003 Posted November 1, 2003 With a seized engine I think he needs to drop the zero off the end, or the four off the beginning..
