I have found this info for the tiller and blower but am having trouble locating it for the mower deck. I am looking for a parts diagram for the 725 32" mower deck. Also the belt part# for the belt that goes from the deck to the PTO. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be of great help. Thnx:)

Any belts you need just go to a napa or another auto part store. If you need to measure the lenth, just use a rope. as far as the diagram click on this http://www.simplicitytechpubs.com/techpubsearch.php then type in the mfg # and down load the operators manual or parts manual. Elon

The topic of belts have been discussed several times. If the belt will run on both the inside and outside of itself the general thought is to run simplicity belts. Rick.......

I looked Hi and Low for you and the only thing I come up with is Belt part # 106248 which appears to be obsolete. Allow room for the pto spring to be able to hold tension on the belt. Measure between the center of the pto pulley and the mower pulley. If you are using 4" pulleys, Multiply 4 times 3.14. That equals 12.5. Since in this illustration I am using two four inch pulleys just add 12.5 to the distance between the pulleys. If 28" between them then a 42.5 would work. Round it up the half inch to 43. That should allow for the twist. This is just here as an illustration. Any information contained should be suspect!!! I would guess that the size you need is 45" or greater. If this doesn't work, GUESS.:D

Dale, I think you mean 12.5 plus TWICE the distance between pulleys....

In the words of Gomer Pyle, Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! Kirt, My brain runs ahead of my fingers on toooo many occasions and yes please double the distance between the pulleys. As I said, All information contained here is suspect!:I:I.

Use model number 990245 and search at the tech pubs site and the belt part number is 108248 not 106248. I have them in stock if your are interested. parts@simplicityparts.com John

I wasn't far off on the size. According to the belt # John gave you a 48 X 1/2 will do it. I have found that you get what you pay for. Use the good simplicity belt.
