Landlord electrical lift switch

If it's a toggle (bat handle) ON/OFF you can loosen the body and rotate it 180 degrees. If it is a rocker switch you can dismount it and do the same. Assuming the wires are long enough, and they probably are. Good luck, Jack

Hi everyone: I have a 1995 Landlord with the electric lift. The wiring on the switch is bass-ackwards, because when I press the switch to lower the mower, it raises! The action of the mower doesnt follow the graphic on the switch itself, which is confusing. (BTW, I just bought this tractor, so thats why Im confused by the switch action.) My question is ..how to fix... can I just reverse the connector on the switch? I dont wanna break anything in my diagnosis. TIA Mark in Maryland

All you need to do is swith the wire connections at the lift motor & the direction of travel will reverse.

Mark, If you only have two wires on the connector it should work but I think I would find a wiring diagram of that tractor and check the wiring out starting at the battery. I have hydraulic on my tractors so I don't know what the electric lift looks like but could the machanical linkage to the mower deck be hooked up wrong? Tim
