Boney Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 Behind the seat of the tractor there is a little metal plate. I can make out the stampd number 4596. I have looked in manuals and have not been able to find a reference to this number. Does anyone know what it is ? I think I have a 1962 725. I am sure it is a 725 just not sure of the year.
DaleC Posted October 31, 2003 Posted October 31, 2003 The little metal plate on mine that is behind the seat is the serial # like Kent suggest. It tells the manufacture date and is usually tied to the number off of the assembly line. The # on the B-12 is 2122. If the numbering started with 1000 then my unit was the 1122 made.
