JoeJ Posted November 2, 2003 Posted November 2, 2003 And almost the right colors!!:D Kinda along the lines of Daves idea with his Maytag engine.
MPH Posted November 2, 2003 Posted November 2, 2003 That is pretty cool looking, not sure I'd want to blow snow with it..MPH
JoeJ Posted November 2, 2003 Author Posted November 2, 2003 Marty, I learned a bit on these engines here and at the Bangor show, MANY makes of them. If Allis ever had one that would make a real cool tractor. But your right on the snow blowin. I did watch a fellow fiddle with one till it blew perfect smoke rings on each firing. An other fellow claimed they add oil to the fuel and tinkered with the timing to get them.
gregc Posted November 2, 2003 Posted November 2, 2003 I don't know about Allis, but Simplicity made some hit and miss engines.
ka9bxg Posted November 2, 2003 Posted November 2, 2003 I don't think the large frame tractor would hold up well to a 7 hp simplicity.Would have a heck of a lot of power and shake
DaleC Posted November 2, 2003 Posted November 2, 2003 Ahh, the things of day dreams. Neat looking concept. I want to see Kirt's dual rear axle.
