TractorBoy Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 I just bought a B12 with a L12 at an auction in northeast Iowa, everything is in great shape but a bit dirty. My question is when was it made? The serial # on the tractor is 005543, on the loader it's 1123. It was getting dark when I got these numbers but I'm sure of the 5543 & 123 portions. 1

MPH Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 Looks like someone wantted his AC to be orange like his farm tractors. Looks good though, nice score, and welcome to the site. Find the code # on your engine shroud, if its OEM motor, the first 2 didgets tell you year it was built..MPH
Allis_B12 Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 I think the B-12 was made around 1966-67. I have one, and the numbers on my engine say May 1967. You've gotta give it a good wash, I want to see how it looks in orange.

jkmustang1 Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 The orange is a well done repaint from what I see. My guess as to when it was done would be late 70s - 85. Frame painted black like black belly big ac tractors of the time.
