Kent Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 The Simple trACtors site and the Clubhouse will likely be down for a while next Monday night, November 10th, beginning at midnight Eastern time. The site will be moved to a brand-new Windows 2003 server, as part of this host's ongoing upgrades to provide the best balance of price, performance and service. They're upgrading all their servers and operating systems, and moving all account/sites to them... If all goes well, it will be back to normal by Tuesday morning, November 11th. Since I must do some work on my end, also, coordinating that may be a bit tricky. But, I've already gone through this with three other sites, so far, so I have a pretty good idea of what to expect. This does NOT effect mail service to those who have a simpletractors e-mail account. Thank you for your understanding, as always! Kent

I still have some things to take care on Simple trACtors but hopefully it won't impact the clubhouse at all.... But, you never know when Murphy is going to come and visit ya... {:D]

Kent Posted November 12, 2003 Author Posted November 12, 2003 Whew! This was the toughest one yet... After reinstalling the FrontPage server extensions 3 times, having to reset all the file permissions at least twice and some three times, then uploading 850 MB of files twice... I think it's finally over, and back to where it was! If you encounter problems anywhere, here or on Simple trACtors, please let me know. I didn't take the time to check all 1500+ pages there, but I think all the navigation is back the way it should be, and working.... If you still get one of those "weird screens" with no navigation links, try clicking Refresh/Reload in your browser a few times to make sure it gets a current copy off the server.... Let me know if you find any problems! Thanks for your patience during all this! Kent
