My 310 has a hole in the frame in the front by the dash. Does anybody know what it was for? Was there ever the option of hydraulic lift? THanks

Graham There are alot of holes. Can you post a picture so we know what you are talking about?

O, sorry I meant to do that but I forgot:(!

I might be wrong but that looks like where a hydro pump would mount.

I also thought it might be where a hydro pump would mount, but i have never heard of a 300 with hydro lift.

Looks like where the hydro pump should go to me also:)

I am sorry that I must plead ignorance on the 310 series. That is the same mount configuation I have for the hydro lift on my B's. I take it that that is a Kolher motor. What are those other two items. I am sure the one is a starter solenoid or HEAVY duty relay of somekind, but what about the other?

The item in the upper left corner is the voltage regulator. the only wire connected right now is the one to the ignition. the other two outside terminals go to the alternator. Steve

Thanks Steve. I figured as much. I also thought it could have been somekind of iqnition part since I am not familiar with the kohler's and their ignition systems.
