maxtorman1234 Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 My 310 has a hole in the frame in the front by the dash. Does anybody know what it was for? Was there ever the option of hydraulic lift? THanks
UCD Posted November 7, 2003 Posted November 7, 2003 Graham There are alot of holes. Can you post a picture so we know what you are talking about?
maxtorman1234 Posted November 7, 2003 Author Posted November 7, 2003 O, sorry I meant to do that but I forgot:(!
rokon2813 Posted November 7, 2003 Posted November 7, 2003 I might be wrong but that looks like where a hydro pump would mount.
maxtorman1234 Posted November 7, 2003 Author Posted November 7, 2003 I also thought it might be where a hydro pump would mount, but i have never heard of a 300 with hydro lift.
MDB Posted November 7, 2003 Posted November 7, 2003 Looks like where the hydro pump should go to me also:)
DaleC Posted November 8, 2003 Posted November 8, 2003 I am sorry that I must plead ignorance on the 310 series. That is the same mount configuation I have for the hydro lift on my B's. I take it that that is a Kolher motor. What are those other two items. I am sure the one is a starter solenoid or HEAVY duty relay of somekind, but what about the other?
Dadsy98 Posted November 8, 2003 Posted November 8, 2003 The item in the upper left corner is the voltage regulator. the only wire connected right now is the one to the ignition. the other two outside terminals go to the alternator. Steve
DaleC Posted November 8, 2003 Posted November 8, 2003 Thanks Steve. I figured as much. I also thought it could have been somekind of iqnition part since I am not familiar with the kohler's and their ignition systems.
