Just made a interesting trade. Last year Ed bought a 3212V with a hydro lift for $10. I am going to trade him a Bachtold whipper walk behind weedmower I got for $100 to him for it. Come January I may just "borrow" the Sundstrand and the good 16HP IC Briggs from my $60 7016H and have a marriage. What do you guys think?8)

Sounds like a good idea. Are you going to do it like you suggested? Using the hydo controls from a vickers and throttle and pto control from the newer style.

Sam, I think that these "hybrids" are "real winners" -- combining the best of both worlds. I'd say do it... I think you'll find this one to be much simpler, using the factory 3212H hydrolift, instead of plumbing/welding the later version that runs off the tranny... Kent

I might. Don't have a original Vickers assembly right now. Really it would be easier to just use the Sundstrand control. Have top see what else shows up in the next couple of months or so.

Thats the bonus this time around. I may try a different twist this time.(Hate do so the same thing twice) Contemplating using the original center PTO setup amd also using the cone clutch. Sound interesting?

Yes it does, I was thinking about that the other day

One could leave the original PTO engagement setup intact, then find a discreet place to install a engagement lever elsewhere for the Cone clutch.
