brianmce Posted November 7, 2003 Posted November 7, 2003 I am attempting to install a headlight kit on my '91 12RTH and ran into a wall when I found out that 2 of the parts in the kit are no longer available. So, I am looking for a wire assy # 1701604 and a connector # 1702106 if anyone has ANY ideas where I might find such things! Option 2 would be to wire the headlights myself, but I'm not an electrician! Any help is appreciated! Brian
maxtorman1234 Posted November 7, 2003 Posted November 7, 2003 Wiring is actually quite simple, as long as you dont short anything out. I just recently redid the wiring on my 712H when i discovered the mice}:) chewed the wires.... You just have to run two wires from each light, then make them meet at one side, then join them and two more wires that go to a switch. You can ground one then take the other directly off the battery to one side of the switch, then join the other wire from the lights to the other side of the switch. Its that simple:) I hope that helps you somehowxx(
