4211 blade adapter

Spent the afternoon figuring out and modifying a bracket to adapt the Landlord blade hitch to fit the 4211. The bracket does bolt or pin to the original hitch holes on the 4211 and can be removed with just the 4 bolts or it can stay on with the mower deck installed. I didn't want to change the blade hitch too much so I couldn't use it on the Landlord so I opted to just move the lift arm straight up. I can still interchange the hitch now on the two different tractors with just a different lift rod. Finally got the right lift lever installed I bought from Sam and it does work great! Now I just have to blast everything and give it a good coat of paint before it snows.

Forgot to mention that I did all this with the little toy I found sitting in my work shop last week for my birthday. What a good day that was!!!:D

nice job. A little paint and it will look like a factory option.

Nice job on the adapter Kris.8D Looks like you gained about 3" of ground clearance over the factory adapter. Your adapter should make for a faster and easier hookup too. About how much clearance did you end up with from the running board to the lift rod if the blade drops below level of the tractor? I ended up running my lift rod from the lift down on an angle to about running board level and then going back up at about the front end of the running board...to keep from sticking my foot in there and getting it mashed when lowering the blade.

Is that welder a stick unit or does it have a spool? JH PS about how much did it cost? (If you don't mind me asking)
