Does anybody know which other companies used Vickers & Sunstrand hydros? Need to find more tractors with them for parts...Thanks

Graham: I have a couple other hydros that will be parted out eventually but its gonna take a while to get that far down the pile. You can take a look when your here. Dan

Grahm I believe Wheel Horse used some Sunstrand hydros but I don't know if they are the same model. Most of the major manufacturers had propritary? components unlike the MTD made mowers of today. Larry

The Wheel Horse Sundstrands are a different type. cub Cadet used one that is more similar, but not sure as to how much similar. I know they have the same pop up push valves as I have a habit of robbing them out of Cubs to use in Simplicity's. The Sundstrands in the Deere 140's may also be somewhat similar. Again, I don't know how much similar though.

The JD 140 uses the same check valves as the Simplicity. I have used the Simplicity's valves in a JD. It instantly ran better, but the green paint faded very quickly after that.

In my search for a vickers pump I was told the older ford jacobisen massy and some crafsman had the same unit, but I did not get around to check I found three old ac parts tractors tow of them were bad

I have a 15HP Gilson with a Vickers, but this one is a sealed, non-serviceable unit...

Before I started paying attention to the vickers, I had a old red cub cadet and from what I remember the hydro looked pretty similar if not the same. Sad case of CRS I'm afraid.
