chivic Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 Some had posted some pictures of a dolly and cradle they had built for a 60" mower deck and I can't seem to find it. I've tried all kinds of searches and can't seem to locate it. Can someone help me out? Maybe you could explain how to search for something like that too. Thanks.
Agricola Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 That dolly on Ebay looks alot like a couple of garage door rollers put into the holes on the deck. It sure looks like a good idea when I get to where I can't lift the deck.
JP Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 I remember the post you're talking about. The guy had some spiffy rollers that the deck mounted on while the ram raised the unit, then the deck just 'rolled' into position. I think there was something for the blower too. JP
Kent Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 Here ya go... http://www.simpletractors.com/do_it/dollies_toolbox_more.htm Hopefully I can get the Simple trACtors navigation straightened out tonight... I can't fix it from work. This upgrade has been a real PITA so far...
maxtorman1234 Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 Since when do you need to tow an A/C???xx(
JP Posted November 13, 2003 Posted November 13, 2003 Yup! That's the one Kent! Thanks! In looking at it though, truly someone with too much time on his hands!! LOL JP
rokon2813 Posted November 13, 2003 Posted November 13, 2003 Not really JP. I think the origins of those dollys came about out of necessity. Some of us are still strong enough of back (or weak enough of mind ??) to manhandle the large heavy attachments. I'd love to be able to handle some of the large stuff effortlessly but at this point I can still handle the labor and dont have the time to make it otherwise. When the time comes that I cant do it alone, I will come up with something so I can. JMO Dan
chivic Posted November 15, 2003 Author Posted November 15, 2003 Hey, thanks a lot, Kent. That's the one I was thinking of. Sorry it took me so long to reply. I had to leave for Oklahoma City the day after I posted the original message.I hope I never have to tow my 616 Rokon, even if it is out of the mud. LOL

Probably while you were gone, Graham posted some pics of playing in the mud. Probly most of us have been there either accidently or on purpose;)
JimH Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 I'll bet there would be a market for this stuff if Brian wanted to persue it. I saw it when it was first posted. Thank's for posting again Kent. Jim........
