Vic Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Has anyone come across one of these before? This is the first time I've seen one. I got the book with it...shows it as a 54" cultivator Mfg. # 1600223. I'll have to give it a try next spring. Also, got a 1 bottom 3-pt Brinly plow. What can you use on the bottom to get the "shine" back on it?
JimH Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Vic, I have one of these for my AC 620. Have not had a chance to use it yet. Jim.......
thedaddycat Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 the ground....... I've just pulled mine around for a while and it shines right back up. Then again there's a lot of sand and rock around here.....
MPH Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Vic, a good wire brush in a 4 in grinder will get the worst of it, then about a half acer of sod might make 'em shine like new again. Mine cleaned up pretty good, but where it was pitted bad I don't believe it'll ever be the same. Thought about filling in the pits with JB weld, but it works alright as is...KPH
DaleC Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 Marty is right Vic, You can do some with wire brushes and sandpaper, etc. The best cleaner is to drop it into the ground and use it. By the way, great find!
SmilinSam Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 I have one too. Won't likely use it before I sell it next spring.
