The 7100 series is the same as the 900 series I think? If so go here to find the belt size: http://www.simpletractors.com/parts/belts/belts.htm I think you will find what you are looking for on page 6.

7100 & 900 SERIES 1979 - 1980 1690516 912H Drive Belt# 1650502 Length 46.1" Type HA 1690032 42" Snowthrower Drive Belt# 1666324 Length 69.3" Type HA 7100 & 900 Series 1980 - 2000 1690516 912H Drive Belt# 1650502 Length 46.1" Type HA 1690548 42" Snowthrower Drive Belt# 1666798 Length 147.1" Type HA A word to the wise on this. This belt is expensive but it is cheaper to buy one OEM belt than buying three or four aftermarket belts. The OEM Simplicity belt will last years if the pulleys are aligned and idler pulley bearings are free. This is a long belt and it runs on 5 pulleys 1 driver(A), 1 driven(C), 1 v idler(B), 2 backside idlers(F)&(G). The aftermarket belts will not stand up I don't care what kind you buy.

Keith, Dale is correct, the 900 series AC is the same as the 7100 series Simplicity. However, the is another consideration for the proper snowthrower belt. Some of the early 900/7100 series (like the 912) used a manual front clutch to drive a snowthrower. The later 900/7100 series used the center PTO. Since these tractors are over 20 years old, anything could have been changed by previous owners. Look at your center PTO swing arm. If your swing arm has two (2) pulleys attached, your tractor is made to use a front clutch and a 66.1" belt (#174224). If your swing arm has one (1) pulley attached, with the second pulley anchored to the frame, your tractor is made to use the center PTO and a 147.1" belt (#1666798).
