Glacier Posted November 17, 2003 Posted November 17, 2003 12hp Cast iron Briggs Model# 300421 Type 0127-01-6810141 with starter/ generator, drive belt and soleniod, turns freely but doesn't have any spark. It is missing air filter and cover. What's a fair price? Jeff

roma3112 Posted November 17, 2003 Posted November 17, 2003 jeff it honestly depends on how bad you need the engine, considering if you can find a new old shortblock it would be over 800.00 ish. If all else is in working order other than the coil i would pay 100.00 for one. It would be lots easier to rebuild an old engine than trying to retrofit a new engine onto your tractor.
