However, the 917 with all its winter gear and a mower deck is taking a trip tomorrow and won't be coming back....:( So, I will have to make the one below the primary.. Evidently there hasn't been a really big storm in 15 years around here. With the crawler I have, I'm praying for one soon :-)

Marty.......You have no Idea just indeed how great these cabs are! I got the Wheel Horse cab from a buddy who wanted some parts I had. Found he wants something else I have now. I told him to get me an electric lift for the tractor and what he wants is his. These stubby short manual lift arms on the gear drive Horses are a bear to lift heavy attachments with.....

Sam, Those Wheel Horse's will move alot of snow...I don't know about the blowers on them as I have never hooked up my blower to mine but boy that thing will push alot of snow with the blade...I have never added weights to it either... I think they have about the best mounting set up for the blades..I think the way they hook up under the rear end helps alot with traction...

I really havn't done any cosmetic work to the 105, and it could stand some. The 520 was torn down , repainted, re-decaled, and rewired. Alot of work, but it was worth it I think.

Jeremy, Yup...about 15 years since a real bad storm hit eastern OR and WA...February 1988 I think...I was just starting to haul the cow herd up into the Horse Heavens for calving to start, but the starter in the Kenworth went kaput...which was lucky. The next day the temps dropped about 50 degrees in two hours...winds that night on top of Rattlesnake Mt. were clocked at up to 136 mph...wind chills at my place were around 60 below zero or colder for two weeks. Had a 4500 gallon water tank for hauling stock water behind the Mack...even with two diesel tank heaters going the thing froze into a very large ice cube faster than it could be drained. Of course, the snow was so dry it just blew around a lot making for zero-visibility. Would prefer not to go through another February like that. Sam, That wheelhorse looks mighty fine. Had a chance at a C-160 a few weeks back but it was already gone when I arrived, durn it.

Well....he just called and found one New in the box. The owner is interested in trading for a bunch of Wheel horse stuff in the barn. He's bringing him out in a couple of weeks. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
