3 Cyl Liquid cooled 22HP Diesel engine Hydrostatic foot controlled transmission Power steering 4 w Drive Rear 540 PTO Center 2000 PTO 18 PTO HP Cat "1" 3 pt hitch Sealed wet disc brakes 2 speed gear box differential lock, engaged by pedal on floor Quick release loader, max lift around 900 lbs Seems like a well built machine. Dealer has sold quite a few of them. Apparrently the diesel engine has been in use for a number of years and has a pretty good service record. I didn't buy the mower deck with the tractor as the center and 3 pt lift are not independant. So, I figured I 'd just start shopping for 3 pt attachments over the summer starting with a 5' finish mower which I already have a lead on. First order of business is to fabricate a set of forks to use with it for lifting pallets and equipment. HAvn't made up my mind as to make them attachable to the bucket or to just make a independant head unit like I did with the smaller tractor I'm now selling.
Posted
Price was $12,250 without the mower deck. Dealer allowed $5000 for my 917/deck/cab/blower and the 720/deck.

Ebay has some compact loader forks for attachment directly to the bucket.

If weight is an issue (that is to be lifted) than the separate head is the way to go. I am just g r e e n opps I mead AC orange/yellow --- Nice, have fun with it. Dan

I been working towards a trade like this for a couple years now. Just seemd the right moment now. It won't be paid for till a year from now I'm sure. Right now I'm scraping the barrel to finish paying the truck off. Don't want to be stuck with two payments. When you work towards a goal and have to scrape and dig all the way there, it just make the finished accomplishment all the more rewarding. |) and...lets give credit where credit is due, if it were not for God putting me in the right place at the right time on many a occasion, I wouldn't have the tools at my disposal that I have now.;)

That is true for all of us, Sam. Some reach were they are going by stretching and some by sitting still. Usually, those sitting complain the loudest. God Bless.

The new Legacy is supposed to be a little smaller and not quite as tough as this. On the subject of forks here is some interesting solutions: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2576197039&category=11756 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2576424883&category=40108 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2576420661&category=40108

Was that tractor listed at $12K+ or $17K+? About 5 years ago I almost bought a NewHolland 1920 with loader and 150Hours. But the cold feet of another payment turned me back, lol.

$12,250 was the price to me. $7250 is the balance after the trade in.

Sam,That ROPS looks like it's bolted to the fender, what's underneath that tire well. Also is it foldable?
Posted
The ROPS is fixed in place can't be folded. The fender is actually sandwiched between the Rops and the Tractor upper rear frame.
