Clueless about my new (old) tiller

It sounds like you have yourself a Walk behind tractor and a tiller attachment. If you look under Simplicity then what's new for 1957 you might see yours there if not then it might be an older version yet. Good luck!

i just purchased an old Simplicity tiller. It's quite a piece of work: it appears to be made up of two units, a motorized part and the tiller part. It is belt driven, but I think it has the wrong belts on it. Anyway, I called the Simplicity Publications line, and they don't have any manuals for it. I am really excited about this, and would like to restore it and get it running properly. Right now, it really only operates in a very high speed, and I wonder if I need to fiddle with some pulleys... Thanks in advance for any advice or help that members can give me.
