Marty -- belt stop measurements

Kent

Recommended Posts

As best as I can measure with the snowblower still on the tractor, the belt stops for the front pulley are between 4.25" and 4.5" long, from the center of mounting bolt to where they bend 90 degrees. The bent end is about 2.5" but could be shorter and still work. I wouldn't go any longer, though.... They reach to slightly below the centerpoint of the pulley... Knowing Simplicity, the only difference is that the right side finger is shorter by exactly one wire diameter's worth..........

Kent, I didn't mean I needed one. but thanks for your effort. Been sheetrocking a almost completed house over 4 year building period. The guy didn't use a blueprint and a lot of ramdomly placed studs and undone this, that and the other things. Having numbers you gave me was like a blueprint to make them with, I had the proper size. Thanks again MPH
