New member - confused about Yahoo & needs help

Hi all, I'm a new member and confused about the Yahoo bit. A majority of the postings sent me here.
I have two Simplicitys- One a Broadmoor 707 I saved from the Trash, rebuilt the engine and use as a trim mower (the kids call it the grouchy Lady Bug). The other is a Landlord 2110, I bought from a guy at work and am rebuilding/repainting.
The problem I have found, is the local Dealers are not helpful. It of course is past 10 years old, and is all they want to do is sell me a new one. What they lack is the understanding of the Passion we have for these older tractors.
Where is a good source to by parts ? online? Are things like Decals being reproduced? What year did the 2110 come out? My best guess is 1969. (Mfg no. 990432, s/n 3251.)
I'm having a hard time matching the paint. The best match so far is Rust-oleum AC implement paint. It seems to be too bright of an orange. Any recommendations?
I think this web site is great, it has a lot of content I have yet to discover.
Thanks, Tinman_Tim

Try going to Simplicity's home page and they have a section where you can call with your MFG # and order a parts manual which should detail all your questions.[A href='www.simplicitymfg.com/']www.simplicitymfg.com/[/a]

Hi Tinman,Glad to have you on board. We all help one another and basically thats all thats asked in return if your able to. And of course enjoy discussing our pride and and joys. As far as parts are concerned we have some dealers that are members and offer discounts for our members. At the top of the page click on back to simpletractors and once there click on parts and once at the parts page click on-on line parts and write now there are 2 members listed that can sell you parts if you call them. One other dealer not listed is located in Pontiac Mich.-University Lawn Equipment-248-373-7220 ask for Mark. Now anyone of these dealers may in someway help you. As for the decals you should also find those listed on the parts page as some members reproduce them with great results-just read the adds for decals. As for the paint Simplicity does sell it in a spray can and I know the dealer I listed carries it but I am sure the others do also. Really just about any part is available with exception of the sheet metal parts. Most of these have to bought used. I highly recommend if you havn't done so bookmark this page and then you can go back to the simpletractors site just by clicking at the top of this page like I said earlier. Please explore simpletractors site and besure to check out everything that you can as it will give you hours of enjoyment. As for your Landlord 2110 I beleive 1967-69 is fairly close if not 1969 like you said. You will not find a better group of members and non alike anywhere-but thats my opion and in time you may agree. We all have one person to thank for providing us the use of his site and starting our club and his name is "KENT THOMAS" as he is the founder of "SIMPLETRACTORS". Please anyone else that can add or correct me feel free to do so. So Welcome Again Tinman->jackl<-or->happyjack<-

Tim,
Welcome to the club! Jack pretty much said it all about this group. Kent originally used Yahurl! for the forum, but it was so 'buggy' that it drove everyone nuts, so he moved us to a commercial (paid) server. We still use Yucko! for the 'chat', for now. Please join in that particular madness on Sunday nights at 7 eastern time.
If you want an overview of what's here, go to "Contents" on the SimpletrACtors home page and start scrolling down; there's a lot.

Timman_tim: I don't know if this is what you are asking about. But I have not been able to join the club because I cannot get through the Yahoo "join" section without my computer locking up. Is there another way to join?
