AC 700 Shuttle to Hydro conversion

Recommended Posts

Has any club member actually carried out this conversion. I note discussions in the Archives and Kent and Sam have done it with the B Series. I have a 7016H 1690006 which could be the donor tractor I pick up the 712S Sunday.

I haven't but I'd think it would be much easier than the B-series that Sam and I did. I'd think you could likely just swap out everything from the BGB back, and the oontrol linkage will likely swap our directly with the shuttle.... Should be fairly straignt-forword...

Trying to figure out what you want to end up with. Assume the 12 horse is good and the 16 bad? If so, the easiest would probably be to put the 12 in the 7016 to end up with a 7012H. Brent

712S is cherry. The 16hp briggs is destined for a 7100 six speed. I have running: 7119H with 20 hp magnum. 7112H with kohler needing repower 7117H and 7112six speed. 2 7016Hs that I am finishing the rebuilds on 1 cherry 3416H
