Axle tube failure

Recommended Posts

kpswit
In August up graded from a 3210v to a 7119. Ran great till the axle tube snapped in two. Not happy. Has any one else snapped the axel tube in this model? And is this a problem or weak point in the tractor?

Yes I had mine break on a 1966 Landlord 101. I had a failure along the keyway area. This does seem to be a weak point. I am building a new axle tube but I will be using a thicker wall thickness tube that the stock one. I hope this will fix the problem. Good luck, Ryan

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
