Spring tooth harrow?

Recommended Posts

Chris727
I have an opportunity to purchase a simplicity spring tooth harrow in fair shape for $50. It is basically the same toolbar as the old 2 piece cultivators. I am mainly wondering what this implement is really intended to do? Does it break up the soil more finely after its been rototilled or plowed? Doesn't a disk harrow or spike drag harrow do the same thing? Thanks. Chris

if i knew where it is i'd get it.i got one before for 50.00 and sold it.i'd go over the garden 3 times and it would break the soil up nice.i think they do a nice job.and also you can plant your beets and stuff in the furrows.if i was you i'd buy it.
