hitch,frame and lift kit info

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have information on the various kits that are needed to attach different implements, tiller, blower etc... to various tractors? For instance, a 30" tiller on a 738 doesn't need a kit but to put it on a 727,728 kit 103283 is needed. There seems to be alot of kits needed to make different attachements work on different age tractors and the Simplicity technical publications link never seems to have any info on them. Thanks for any help.

Thanks Maynard but that's not quite what I'm asking for. I did the "what fits" thing and found the 30" tiller needs kit 103283 to work on a 728 tractor. I'm trying to find out what kit 103283 consists of. I put that number into the simplicity publications finder and no items were found. I'd like to know what parts are in that kit with a picture being nice too.

Lloyd - I have often had this problem of finding out what is in a "kit". In this case, I believe that the kit contains a different lift rod to accomodate the newer style lift lever that was used on the 738, 5008 and 5010. Tom Schmit
