Lift handle????

Recommended Posts

I have a Cab on my 7016H Idon't currently have a blower for it so I use my snowblade... When I go to lift it the release button on the handle hits the slot in my cab..... I thought about Cutting an Inch or 2 of an extra lift handle I have for this use.. I realize it will make the blade lift harder but it should be ok... Has anyone done this????????

You probably won't notice much difference if you only cut an inch off. You may also want to consider what I did to the push button release. I took the center rod out of my lift and threaded the end of it. Bought a coupler for threaded rods, that is basically a very long nut. It fits inside the lift tube. Now I can adjust how far the release rod comes out of the tube. You can lock it to prevent turning with a regular nut. I like this better than the factory plastic cap that isn't adjustable.
