Continuation of Boston's Big Dig and my newest

Recommended Posts

Well, Last week I posted a article about my experience towing some equipment home and a ratchet strap coming loose. I never mentioned what the equipment was and was asked. Well, I recently bought a garden tractor plow off of Ebay for $9.95. It was in Ma. about a hour from where I live. Well after picking it up I stumbled across a machine sitting in a yard and left a note with my telephone number asking if they were interested in selling it. It appeared that it wasn't being used and another machine was in the garage. Two days later I got a call, the man was very nice and said he would sell it. This is what I bought, a Simplicity 7119H ( 19 hp.Kohler twin cylinder ) 48" mower deck, rear mount Simplicity vaccum attachment, 46" Simplicity front plow blade w/trip springs, Simplicity dump trailer w/ high metal sides. The reason it was for sale was because the engine does not run and appears to have thrown a connecting rod. I don't see any engine damage on the exterior of the engine and can spin the crankshaft in both directions a little before it binds up so it might be salvageable. In addition to this I got another trailer (not Simplicity) and a pull behind aerator as well as a weight box to fit a larger tractor with a 3 point hitch ( not sure what category ). It was good for the seller and it was good for me so we were both happy.

...and did you have to deal with the tunnel again, like a cowboy that's been throwed and gets right back on? (I've been so long here that the thought of driving in traffic almost scares me -- and it takes a lot to scare me! :D

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
