Thanks once again for the tips it was the key on the input shaft of the bgb,I really lucked out on that! One more question though if I may,is the set screw in the yoke tapered? mine will only turn in until it is flush with the keyway,is that the correct set up or should I chase the threads with a tap so it will go on through? Thanks once again for the advice. John :D:D

I would chase the threads with a tap so you can get good pressure on the key with the set screw. That force aslo pulls the inner bore of the yoke tight against the shaft opposite the set screw.

Thanks DC,I was looking at the flange/coupling and its worn a bit on the bgb side although the keyway on the shaft is good,I wonder if I can still get one from the factory? I was looking in the lg frm gt manual but could not find the part no. it just said drive shaft flange.Probably cheeper to put a new one on now if I can, than to wear out the shaft on the bgb.JB :D
