4040 Filter

Recommended Posts

I have the old style air filter for my 4040 where it seals up against the top of the hood (like a cannister type). I was told that you can't get these filters anymore (the part # on mine is a Donaldson P115210, the Simplicity # is 173136) and have been searching for a replacement on the internet. I see that in another post someone mentioned a Wix 42299, but that is a different type. This filter is different than most I've seen, and is it possible to convert is to another type (I know I'd have to get an entire air filter assembly that would sit on the carb). Thanks- Rodney

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁
