Right Side PTO.....

Recommended Posts

A while back I asked about the right side PTO pulley sometimes found on the older tractors. I have had at least two of them like that. Here's an example... This is the 2012 undergoing a stalled restoration. I'm pointing to both of the pulleys mounted on the right side of the BGB cross shaft. The inner one is the normal tranny drive pulley.

Now I know Tom got an older tractor from Jeff Nemes that had one of the earliset vac systems with it and that vac was driven from this pulley if I'm not mistaken. Check out the link to the early generator, it sure looks like it's driven from the right side too.... http://www.simpletractors.com/attachments/generator.htm

You are correct Kirk. For some reason I thought the vac system was rear PTO driven but when I went to the garage and looked it is driven from the center PTO. I haven't used it since I got it so I had to look:I:D
