I am considering installing an electric fuel pump on my AC 720 with a 20 hp Onan engine. What are the advantages, disadvantages? thanks, Steve

Biggest plus IMO is no chance of leaking fuel into your crankcase. Only minus I can think of its OEM if that matters to you.

Its hard to beat electric fuel pumps.. From the second you turn the switch, fuel starts to move no grinding the engine to pull fuel from the tank after running dry etc.. Just be sure to get a pump that don't over pressure the needle & seat. Good luck

Just put one on my 620 and I'll never regret it. Runs good and as Marty said ,if you run it dry you can start right back up. I've also noticed my pickup tube might not be getting all the way to the bottom of the tank, so I think I'm going to install a an electric gas gauge in the dash and tank so I don't have to constantly look under the hood to monitor fuel consumption.
