Hydro squeals in Forward after warming up

A hydro squealing in forward only not in reverse on a 7018h. After about 5 minutes of use the hydro makes a highpitched squeal as if bearings are going bad. I can't quite find the source of the noise, maybe gear box? or one of the pulleys? What gives? I can't figure it out?

Are you sure the squealing is not coming from the cone clutch on the mid PTO. I has this problem last summer. Bearing siezing up and spinning the internal sleeve on the shaft. This was on an AC716H (7016H) The only other thing that I know will make a squeal is if the fluid is low and you may be sucking foam into the pump.

Low hydro fluid will cause this as will a hole in the return line ( hose under the hydro from the transaxle ) If it leaks from that hose even a tiny bit, You can bet that air can get in..

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
