Carb Adjustment 4211H, Briggs 11HP

My 4211H had a carb rebuild and ran fine, the last two time out it would start to surge and I would have to adjust the high speed needle (The adjustment under the carb bowl) to keep it running it seems that I almost have it all the way to the closed position to get it to run. Any ideas? Thanks Mike

Mike, Make sure the nozzle (brass) inside the center of the carb body is tight. If it works loose, the main/idle mixture will constantly change and have a tendency to run rich (due to gas leaking up through the center of the nozzle area. Tom(PK)
