Rear mounted mulcher

In the deal I got today with a 2010 and 9HP Landlord man. fact no. 314 I got a green factory built rear mounted mulcher that attaches like a tiller. Has a pin that goes into the lift and is driven from the bevel gear box. It's in good shape. The guy said he used it to mulch corn stalks, leaves and hay. It has a cylinder about 5 inches wide with a bunch of flails that do the shredding. Not quite a chipper/shredder but still a bit unusual around here at least. I'll get a picture of it mounted and maybe in action if I can find my digital camera.

Sounds like it's a MacKissic shredder - said to be well made - good find. And when you find that camera remember to send pictures of your bagger systems - thanks.

It's a Mackissic. I found my camera but have to recharge the battery. I'll get some pics tomorrow if I remember. It is well made and in very good shape. Looks to have always been shedded. Does anyone else have one and use it? I don't plant a garden so don't have any cornstalks or other plant material to mulch. When I get it mounted I might run some baled straw through it though and see how that works.
