On my racing tractor im going to put a set of lights on it but, i dont run a battery so how would i be able to make them light? If it helps it is a 16hp briggs and stratton on a crapsman frame. The motor did twist the frame a bit. I am wondering if i can Wire them to the starter/geneartor? and they will light?

If you don't run a bat. why do you have the gen. on to drag on the engine. Also I think with a gen and reg circut you must have a bat. in the circut to act as a capasiter. If no bat. then the reg has nothing to judge what voltage is on the system. I have pulled the bat on gen. tractors before and it throw the circut into full charge, uping the voltage and blowing the lights and gauges. If you do run the gen. put in a small bat like a motercycle or something. Then lights are a no brainer.
