V-twin Honda in a 716H?

The K341S in my 716H is developing a good knock and after pricing shortblocks, was a bit taken aback at how Honda's are cheaper in complete engine form. I'll have to do some measuring, but any reason why I wouldn't want to use an 18HP twin Honda in this thing, assuming it'd fit? Been looking at http://www.smallenginewarehouse.com/Product.asp?PN=GX610K0QAF2 for the engine to use. Just fishing for input. If Honda made a 16HP single cylinder, I'd be all over it.

Haven't messed with Honda, but I have put 16 and 18 horse Briggs V-twins in B's, 700 series and 900 series. A few bugs to make them fit, but not too terribly difficult. With the exception of an adapter to connect the driveshaft, I wouldn't think a Honda would be any more difficult. Pat

Have a lathe and mill, so making an aluminum adapter hub shouldn't be a big deal.
