Homelite T-!6H

I just bought a Homelite T-16H and I am having a whale of a time finding the ID number. The factory sticker on the tunnel right in front of the seatbottom has been worn clean over it's years. Is there another way figure out the ID number so I can order parts?

If it's an A/C built Homelite, the "ID number" won't do you much good for getting parts. The sticker on my A/C built T-12 reads: Model No T12 Serial No 20340001 They are of no help with getting parts at a Simplicity dealer unless he has old Homelite parts books. That's the bad news. The good news is, once you get a parts list, most of the parts are still available using the numbers listed in the old Homelite parts manuals. And if your Homelite was Simplicity built, then using the info supplied above by Maynard should get you equivalent Simplicity model numbers. Then use another excellent Maynard post to get the info: http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=32437 Good luck and welcome to the club.

Hey, thanks for the welcome fellas. I appreciate the help. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll have my beast painted and I'll post some pictures. Thanks again. Lucas
