Tractor has sat for several years. Engine spins by hand. cleaned connections. interlocks, seat and pto checked, hydro Drive is disengaged. When key is turned rear area under seat makes a humming noise maybe like something is stuck/frozen. Any suggestions?? tia Sam

Dont know that model real well but it sounds like the solenoid is under there somewhere and its stuck. Try tapping it with a wrench while holding the key, it may free up, or just replace it. If you can find it, try jumping from one large terminal to the other large terminal, if it turns over, you know that is your problem.

Soleniod will "Growl" if the battery is weak or if there is a poor connection of the cables to the battery or from the battery cables to the ground and or solenoid.. I would put a charge on the battery and remove the cables, clean both ends of each cable and re-install and see if this didn't fix the trouble.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
