3416 mower deck bearing

While mowing my neighbors tall lawn my deck started making an awful noise. Turns out it's one of the pulleys that drives a blade. Are these re-buildable, can I re-pack it, or do I need to order a new one. Anyone have a universal #? I haven't taken it apart yet. Was hoping to be able to get it at Grainger. Thanks for any help.

I would think that if you took in the broke parts, Grainger or anyone selling industrial supplies could sell you a replacement to fit. They would just need to see and measure the old part. /r David

Should have checked my parts catalog before I asked. Arbor just splits in half to get to the two ball bearings. The noisy one was shoot, in pieces; made in Japan, must ahve been a replacement. I was really surprised when NAPA came up with a part # using the Simplicity #, only $9 each.:)

Which number? Is it the number on the bearing or a Simplicity part number? I priced the bearing today at a Simplicity dealer today and they were $8.40.
