Onan CCKA to CCKB

Is there any way to make a 16hp CCKA into a 20hp CCKB? I am looking for a little more power out of my 616, and don't really want to sell it for something else. I've heard that it's just a carb/manifold swap. Thanks!

Pretty much, To accomodate the carb/manifold change the the air cleaner & flywheel shroud changed & The charging systems are different (not to mention intake valve guide seals too). I've done it to quite a few units. JP

JJ, The terse description Jim (JP) gave is correct. The CCK-A/CCK-B short blocks' components are identical. The flywheels went from aluminum to cast iron. The intake/induction system was really where the extra four ponies came from (a retrictive Zenith down draft carb VS a high flow Carter side draft carb). Tom (PK)
