My friend had his car trailer stolen about two weeks ago and was recovered about 2 days ago in Hancock County, Ohio. The guys who stole his trailer was using it to steel garden tractors in Hancock, Allen and Hardin county. If any of you guys had one come up missing these guys probably took it. Get a hold of the Hancock County Sherif's office.

I have this feeling that this Guy stole Mike Biery's friends MTD. See the story below. http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=32247

I was thinking the same thing Nick, But you never can tell, there could be more than one mower thief running around this area.....[:0]}:) I still say that the thief did my friend a favor. I asked him last week if he wanted to sell the 2210 back to me and he just laughed.....:D

The brains behind the thefts is Steve Keckler, from Kenton, Oh. He had ten tractors on some property, they got him for receiving stolen property, not theft. They did not see him steal them. Go figure?

I tried doing a search through your local paper on the stolen tractors and came up with an interesting thing reported to the police, "A Sherry Street man reported Thursday that someone shattered the glass of his white 1985 Ford Crown Victoria with railroad rocks. The man told police he planned to use the vehicle as a demolition derby car and wanted to break the glass himself." I don't know who here watches the Tonight Show, but that deserves being on their headlines part of the show they do every Monday night. http://www.nbc.com/nbc/The_Tonight_Show_with_Jay_Leno/headlines/index.shtml
