Sleeve hitch weight capacity

Recommended Posts

TractorBoy
?I have a AC B12 with a hydraulic lift. I'm wondering what the lifting capacity of the sleeve hitch is. I'm in the process of building a rear weight to counter balance the L12 loader with a bucket full of gravel.I have rear cast iron wheel weights (I think they are 50lbs ea) on now. Anyone out there got an answer or an educated guess? Thanks for all the past help. Tractorboy

Leverage is an important factor. My "guesstimate" would be about 300 lbs if lifted right from the end of the OEM lift tube without using a front counter weight. But the front of the tractor would probably be off the ground before 300 lbs. could be lifted.
