Hydro drive pump for attachments

I have a 7119H hydro drive that I want to use the hydrolic system to operate a Hydraulic cylinder on the back of the tractor. my thoughts were to tap into the existing center mount cylinder circuit and put switch to select the rear or center. by doing that I should be able to use the existing controll valve. any recomendations on parts list, size of cylinder, Hydo system specs, etc Thanks tkuk

I'm no expert on hydraulic systems but here's my 2 cents. The application will determine the size of the cylinder your need, open and closed length. For cylinder bore it would be good to stick close to what the bore of the cylinder for the center lift is. Tim

The first question is: Is there enough fluid contained within the hydrostatic transmission system (reservoir) to fill the cylinder and is there enough fluid capacity for the return fluid to cool off before being recylced to the cylinder again.

I have an AC 912H that had no hydraulics other than that trans. I am tapping into some ports on the trans casting for a pressure and tank line to install a home made hydraulic lift for the deck, my wife hates the big manual lift arm that gets in the way. I have thought about putting a reservoir between the filter and trans to add volume. If your interested I'll let you know how it work out.

If you have the sunstrand hydro, there are two implement ports (left one is to implement, right one is from implement) and you will need to add an implement relief valve in place of the charge relief valve and move the charge relief valve to the side port. You probably don't need a resivor just bleed the air out of the cylinder and add fluid to the hydro as needed till all air is out and hydro is full again. Phil
