Kent Posted May 27, 2000 Share Posted May 27, 2000 John, I can't do anything about the ISP. If you know you're going to be typing a long message, you can type it in Notepad and paste it in here. Notepad doesn't add formatting characters like Word or Wordpad do.... Copy the text out of Notepad by highlighting it, then choosing Copy off the Edit menu or use the shortcut of holding down CTRL and pressing C. To paste the text into these input boxes, just put your cursor in it and use the shortcut of holding down CTRL and press V. That's the shortcut for Paste.... Hope this helps. Kent Posted May 27, 2000 Author Share Posted May 27, 2000 Kent , when I get long winded my I.S. provider or browser times me out and I lose the message I've created when it won't submit. this is very annoying when you type as slow as i do . FiremanRon Posted May 28, 2000 Share Posted May 28, 2000 Maybe your browser is different, but with Internet Explorer, you can change the setting for how long it can be inactive. And then it warns you so you can tell it to stay connected. I guess your provider could be the culprit, too.
