OK so a friend Gave me a old Bolens huskey 600 with a snowblower. neat little tractor had round fenders and was pretty complete and worth restoring. But I dont need a third brand here the AC and JD stuff is enough. So I know a guy into the Bolens stuff and traded him the tractor for a briggs motor. I also got him to throw in a Simplicity snowblower. It looks like it has been used once, and stored indoors. I would say this thing is about 97%brand new. I went to briggs web site and got some info but couldnt figure the HP of this motor. The guy said its a 12HP from a B-12, I found the numbers on the shroud they are as follows. 300421-01277-01-700201 I believe this is what is stamped into it. But the numbers are hard to see. Anyone know if this is a 12HP looks kinda big, but might be because its not in a tractor. The blower is a MFG#990562 Ser#2186, havent looked yet to see what it fits But man this thing is near mint. there are no dents in the augerblades at all. the shoot top is white/offwhite with the big S on it. the hand/wing bolts arent even discolored or rusted. there are some scratches behind the auger but nothing big. Ill post some pics of this blower this weekend. It might go up for sale, not sure yet... James K.

Well, it's a 12Hp Briggs. Here's the Owner's Manual... http://www.simpletractors.com/operation/b_%26_s_300401.htm And it's a Broadmoor snowblower. Here's what it fits: http://www.simpletractors.com/what_fits/atch_(pg37).htm

Hello glad I got on this site. I hope to upload a couple of photos of my Simplicity Broadmoor
Model 707 Tractor. I have replaced all the belts on it and installed a new ignition switch.
Have a mower deck which was in poor shape , repaced a couple of bushings and welded the
deck where there was some holes. The tractor and mower deck came from a friend and the
mower deck metal was getting pretty thin. Some new metal was put in it and we also undercoated the underside of the deck. This was done by my friend Greg Toulman.
I have not put the mower deck on the tractor yet, waiting for Greg to come home and give me a hand. Can you please tell me if there is a manual for the mower deck and where I could get one.
I would also like to get some moon wheel discs as well.
I will try and down load some photos of the tractor when my wife shows me how to.
I really love driving this tractor and also how well it is made compare today's tractors, especially the flexible rear end and the rollers.
      Tell the next time
      Paul
