Loader hydraulics...easily repaired?

If all goes as planned in the next day or so, Ill be the owner of a loader for my 912H. The current owner hasnt used it in a while, but he says it works. My question is: If the hydraulic cylinders need work is it better to rebuild them myself, pay someone to do it due parts tolerances, or just replace them? I should have pics of this by wednesday night.

Cylinders aren't hard to work on,but like Maynard said, having the right tools is the way to go.If I was leery of doing it,I would take it somewhere to let them rebuild it.Replacing cylinders shouldn't be necessary.

Watch out for pitted pistons, if the pistons are badly pitted or scored no O-ring will seal them. If you run into that situation then you'll need a specialist but otherwise it shouldn't be to hard.
